Illsent: Are the console and PC servers merged now?
Aug 28, 2019 17:57:40 GMT
Matador: I figured out how to make the new warp cores ckightk . You need to find manufacturing facilities to get the recipe. You can unlock it from a recipe tree, so you get to pick what recipes you get now.
Aug 28, 2019 19:03:11 GMT
Matador: it takes one antimatter and 1 storm crystal to craft, but 1 hypercore acts like 5 regular warp cells
Aug 28, 2019 19:03:56 GMT
ckightk: Awesomeand that sounds easy to make
Aug 28, 2019 19:44:28 GMT

Sept 2, 2019 15:54:51 GMT
Illsent: I don't really play NMS very often anymore, but if I ever do go back, I'll be sure to check out the hub. Well, that is, as long as it's on PS4.

A notice to all Militaristic Groups of Lawfull Intent and the wider factions throughout the Galaxy:-
I have made an executive decision to cut ties with Allies that have a militaristic leaning, and now announce that we will no longer accept any alliance from any Militaristic groups in the future until we have witenessed their good intentions in practice over time. Given the lawlessness of space and recent sabre rattlings and talk of war, I have come to the conclusion that only by showing our Neutrality through decisive actions such as this one, can we show to the wider groups in the Universe that we are and will remain true to our Ethos.
We Bedouins have a free roaming lifestyle of exploration and discovery, we rely on our own resources within the wider galaxy in order to survive and persue our goals. We are a group only in the sense that we are a loose collection of like-minded souls, and we have rallied together through communications over vaste distances, we go by the name of Bedouin Cartographers, as reflects our ethos and lifetyle.
We will ally with like minded groups within the galaxy in the spirit of sharing and exchange of data should those groups be interested.
We will never ally with groups who are seen to be lawless. And as of today we will no longer be allied to any militaristic group at all that has not proven their sincerity through lawfull action over time, in fighting Piracy and other lawless activities, within the spirit of unwritten rules of fairness, equality and freedom for all, and, only then will we share information with them that could help their cause.
I hope that in the future, should any lawfull groups prove their lawfullness through their actions over time, that we can open communications channels with such groups for our mutual benefit.
Thank you for your time, and may your engines always burn bright."
Well good people, we have now entered into 2016, and can look forward with eagerness to the game going live in a few months time now.
So what have we achieved in this past two months?
Though not entirely visible in totality, we have been busy in communications outside the main forum, organising and putting in place the new website. As it stands now, we have a decent array of pages, within various sections, that may be usefull to us once the game goes live. The site is primarily for gathering and disseminating what game related information, mechanics, lore etc that we find, as individual players in the game, and presenting that information for the fun of it, on the website, so yourselves and others can share in our findings, should you/they wish to do so.
It also is a fun way that each of us members can catalogue our own journey and experience ingame should we choose to do so. Should any of you (members) wish your own recorded logs added to a page in your name, then all you need do after the game goes live is PM me a link to those logs, docs, pdf's videos, stories etc, and I will add it to your pages.
nivekisrom and I have been discussing strategies on how to go about systematically surveying a planet every xx number of systems apart, along our journey to the center, and I look forward to @nivekisroms strategies being turned into a guide at some future time, much like his wonderfully thought out Fogg's Field Guide for NMS Explorers
The drop down menu On the Exploration page leads to a page for each environment of potential exploration and discovery, and shows potential strategies from that guide to suit those different environments.
A group of us have been in discussion on various subjects relating to the game these past two months leading up to Christmas, and these past two weeks on and off, in order to help me look at a suitable format for our site.
Should any of you have ideas, feel free to post them in one of our member only threads for discussion, or contact me direct if not quite ready to throw out ideas into the public domain. So we have been very active and very busy behind the scenes, getting ideas and an infrastructure up on site, in readiness for 2016. All we can do now is wait until the game goes live, and see just what the devs have given us to play with in this wonderfull sandbox.
So I wish everyone and every member, all the best at the start of this year, and hope that for all of you, that the game will have the legs to carry your interest forwards for the longer journey ahead.
It has been a busy time since we entered 2016. A small group of us Bedouin's have been very busy in the background organising the website, creating and linking potentialy usefull documents and strategies for exploration. I must thank altsaxen, @moksrezzed, nivekisrom and Utopian Sanity for their help when formulating and formailising new ideas, strategies and content on site and for being there as I endlessly bounce ideas off of them. They now have very strong heads as a result.
I am currently working on best ways for each pilot to have access to a page of their own to post links to their documents, journals and any videos they produce and will be posting how we go about this very soon now.
We have small increases in our pilots roster over this time and look forward to our eventual gameplay come June. I thank those people for their interest in our small group and hope that with our efforts on the site and what is to come, that we all can have a more enjoyable experience when it is time to play the game.
(sent out to every member via PM. may not apply to some who have remained active).
Well good people. We are now close to release, the galaxy beckons.
For those that will be engaging in gathering information, or just sharing their journies through documents, videos etc, and wish access to their personal page on our BC website, you need to contact me via PM and post me avalid email address. Don't wait while release, as myself and the other admins will also be busy ingame those first few days. And I will also be looking at organising information sharing on the enms site and our own for those only engaging through enms BC threads and not through a pilots page.
Data gathering and sharing is not a compulsary activity, and only for those that wish that activity in order to add to their immersion with the game, however continued membership in the BC will require engagement with the group.
These members have already been sent authorship and can ignore the above.
My hope is that many of you will return to enms and become active on the forums again soon. (A Group-wide PM mwill be sent out shortly)
The site is up and more or less fully functional from a layout standpoint, and some of the members listed above have engaged with their pilots pages already in advance. I will be clearing out the examples on my own page soon so that I also have a clean sheet to work with.
For those members who no longer wish to engage with the BC, then please contact me via PM and I will take you from the group. This will allow me to tidy up the group a get a clear idea of true membership numbers. As of today we stand at 58 members, which is pretty good going so far.
I have to thank those that have helped us get this far, and you know who you are.
One month after release, I will be clearing out non-active members to ensure we have transparency in our true membership count, so I urge you to begin to engage with the group and or enms website as we approach the release date. As already mentioned, for those who do not wish to engage in any way with the BC, do contact me via PM, I fully understand how peoples lives, interests and activities can change over time, so do not feel bad about contacting me, I will fully understand, but we at least can then organise the group affectively with a clear view on who will and will not be active in advance.
Thanks in advance And let's get out there soon and enjoy the ride.

I have checked membership login information and removed seven members. I have removed members that have not logged in since April. 1 month from today I will remove members who have not logged in since end of June.
I expect more removals over the coming months due to inactivity, apart from those who have already contacted me for various reasons. In my opinion the group system served it's purpose since it's creation in promoting engagemenr during game development among like minded people. I would hope the group system continues. However, I have no qualms in parring down the membership in this way, it is a natural aspect of such a Group/Guild/Clan system to constantly trim, add and delete members based on activity. Should the group eventualy dwindle down to a hand full over time, so be it. The group will remain alive so long as there is activity. Soon as all activity dies, should no new members be added over time, then so does the group, it's a natural outcome in a dynamic and entropic system.
