Matador: I figured out how to make the new warp cores ckightk . You need to find manufacturing facilities to get the recipe. You can unlock it from a recipe tree, so you get to pick what recipes you get now.

Matador: it takes one antimatter and 1 storm crystal to craft, but 1 hypercore acts like 5 regular warp cells

Illsent: I don't really play NMS very often anymore, but if I ever do go back, I'll be sure to check out the hub. Well, that is, as long as it's on PS4.

This was a really old thread that went around a lot during the early stages of the site. Since we have a lot of new faces around, I thought I'd bring it back with all of the new information we've gathered recently, so..
Share with us your ideas and what type of player you think you will be
For me, I think I'll be adventurous, and a trouble-maker for sure. I'll definitely try and take out a space station, yet the first thing I'll do when I open the game is kill myself to see how that all works and looks like, then maybe fly into the sun
Just your average Joe- err Connor, who loves to game and has a passion for soccer! Check out my channel for NMS goodies and more! If any of you ever have a question or concern, do not wait, PM me strait away and I'll get things sorted out.
It's my desire to explore the many planets, and build a set of fleets/armada(s) of drone and fighter ships - and search for the source of the sentinels, and to see what is beyond the centre of our galaxy. Once we get there.
I also want to take interest in the many races of the ''NO MAN'S SKY'' Universe for more scientific reasons, of course.
So in general, I am a ''Explorer, Pathfinder, Warlord, Engineer, Scientist, and Diplomat'' when needed.
I see my path before me/ Paved with points light/ Alone I take this journey/ Into the starry night/ I seek for sights and places/ Eyes have not yet seen/ Exploring, seeking traces/ Of what before has been.
-"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." - Robert A. Heinlein
I see myself as an explorer, mostly going around being pacifistic (if that's even a word) and trying to learn all of the alien languages and be friends with everyone that are good-hearted, nonchaotic people
I do enjoy kicking some serious ass from time to time, though

I'll spend the majority of my time exploring and discovering and tinkering with the various ways you can interact with everything, document and discover everything I can, upgrade my ship/suit as high as possible so that no area is off limits to me.
I'm going to try everything at least once though, that's what makes a good explorer ^^
I think the craziest part about all this is, the first time I load up the game, I'm not going to even know where to begin. I'm probably going to stand in one spot for like half an hour trying to make up my mind about where to take those first few steps. THAT is what makes a good game, when you give the player a sandbox with so much content that they're genuinely having internal conflict about how and where to proceed.
After a few hrs of checking out the planet I start on I will be pushing the limits of my ships systems. I'm not going to race to the center per say; but I want to get to about 1/3 of the way there before spending a lot of time in each system. I want to hunt down the clues scattered across the Vers as to who WE are. Boldly going into portals and deciphering ancient stone monuments all while looking up at No Man's Sky.
The first thing I will do is find a very high peak on the planet and get my binoculars out and take pictures of the landscape ahead of me see if there's anything close to me worth checking.
If not I will get back in ship and repeat process I do know that there is point of interest on your map but not everything will be so I think it's a good way to start my exploration in small detail on a planet just to get the feel of the landscape perhaps it's inhabitants and hopefully I will find monoliths on my first planet any NPC's I talk to I will take pictures of the conversations so I can analyse it given the response I get etc.. This will not help me right away but as I learn more of the language it will help greatly.
Making documentarys on the life I have seen on animals landscapes and languages, writing a diary of my No Mans Sky experience which everyone that's in my faction will be able to access and share there story and there information with me and other members and allies of the Faction!
