Matador: I figured out how to make the new warp cores ckightk . You need to find manufacturing facilities to get the recipe. You can unlock it from a recipe tree, so you get to pick what recipes you get now.

Matador: it takes one antimatter and 1 storm crystal to craft, but 1 hypercore acts like 5 regular warp cells

Illsent: I don't really play NMS very often anymore, but if I ever do go back, I'll be sure to check out the hub. Well, that is, as long as it's on PS4.

So I have an idea on how to organize a meeting between two people, if we can get everyone together on a Facebook page dedicated to it (players posting locations, discoveries, etc...) we would have a better chance of someone finding someone else. It would be NMS history, Something that Sean Murray thinks is Impossible. I figure yeah it may not happen if you're looking for 1 person. But if you have the capability of informing thousands of explorers it would heighten the odds exponentially. Still it may be impossible. If you are interested I have created a Facebook page Called No Man's Sky Explorer Database. The link is Facebook.com/NMSED. Like I said this is about making history. The odds are against us and I need as many people helping as possible.
Yeah exactly Weebabyseamus! yeah Padrino even my idea might take awhile haha it's basically all just going to be up to chance, but if we all have some way of letting everyone know where we are that it puts the odds more so in our favor.
I believe you will be able to search up planets with your galactic map and get directions. In that case it will be relatively "easy" to meet up with another person if you are in communication. However the amount of time to travel to their location will be tedious. Odds of finding a random player by chance will be about zero.
Another thing nobody has mentioned is in the early days of the game Sean Murray said you can see your friends on the map. So if you can see them you could generally start heading in their direction. Unless this feature is no longer in the game of course, then I guess we will be flying blind
I had heard there isn't multiplayer - but the features they are talking about are just ability to see other players discoveries and like, stat sharing. thats all I thought it had in terms of multiplayer. Didn't even think "multiplayer" in the traditional sense of the word had even been programmed into the game?
Can anyone link me to a confirmation otherwise?
-However if it IS possible-
Surely being at the galactic center will help you narrow down star systems names and such. you'll have always meet in the center. (even though its huge as well, still less)
Well, there is this line in the patchnote for the day one patch who confuse (but please) everyone about the multiplayer part of this game :
Networking – Ability to scan star systems other players have discovered on the Galactic Map, increasing the chance of collision. Star systems discovered by other players appear during Galactic Map flight
