Matador: I figured out how to make the new warp cores ckightk . You need to find manufacturing facilities to get the recipe. You can unlock it from a recipe tree, so you get to pick what recipes you get now.

Matador: it takes one antimatter and 1 storm crystal to craft, but 1 hypercore acts like 5 regular warp cells

It was a warm, and quite beautiful day on Raczicaio. Then again, Zendichez thought every day was nice. It was was late evening- nearly night -when he had just finished studying a new plant he had discovered. He yawned, stretched, and was about to call it a day, until he heard the sound of dozens of spaceships coming out of hyperspace. He looked out of the window of his room in the Engin Industries HQ to see warships! And not just any warships... Armadan warships. He hadn't seen nor heard them fire yet, but he knew the only reason for them being here was to destroy his faction. He quickly turned on a machine he had made that acted very similarly to a computer, and created a new log. Instead of making a written log, he created a video instead. The ships started firing, and by the time the video started recording, the HQ had already suffered decent damage. The video that he made warned of The Armada, and told of Engin Industries' little chance of survival. An Armada member blasted through the wall to the left of Zendichez, so he ran through the door opposite of the hole. As Zendichez ran through the many, MANY hallways of the massive building he had created, he looked for survivors. None were to be found. He then proceeded to enter a secluded but normal looking lab-room, push away a large metal shelf, and punch a code into a keypad that was hidden behind the shelf. After pressing 6 numbers, a sliding door- also able to have been hidden behind the shelf because of it's size -opened, and led to a dark stairwell. He rushed down, constantly hearing his building being destroyed, as well as feeling the rumble. After reaching the bottom, a Nelokven Q71 starship waited for him. This starship was meant in case of emergencies, and was one of the fastest in the galaxy. He jumped in, and blasted off. As he flew through the atmosphere, he could see his life being blown to pieces by The Armada.
On that day, he swore he would get revenge on The Armada.
nice intro, Illsent, Is Zendichez going to leave the star system? or stay and plot revenge? It would be cool if we could actually build underground in game.
(I guess you could call this a spoiler, but it's not like this is a blockbuster movie or anything:) He's gonna try to infiltrate The Armada and destroy it from the inside. I'll probably continue the story later today.
Zendichez was in a bar; drinking away his sorrows.
"Another one." He told the waitress. He was close to passing out, before his old, Gek friend Lermin found him. He walked over to Zendichez and sat down.
"I heard about your faction." Lermin said. "It must be terrible; having everything you know being blown up, and not even knowing why." Lermin said this, not knowing if Zendichez could even hear him. Much less is listening. Zendichez looked up, straight into Lermin's eyes, and in a low, drunken voice said:
"I'mma get revenge...", burped, and continued: "They're gonna wish they never messed with me..."
After several months of gathering information on The Armada, Zendichez was ready to begin his plan. It started with joining the Black Finger Lodge, and do what ever is necessary to become a high rank. He then would plant evil rumors, and secretly sabotage The Armada in other ways. He knew that to do this, he must change everything about him. He had contacts throughout the galaxy, and even several in other galaxies, and a couple of them could do what he wished. He changed his name to Illsent Jacal, he changed his appearance to look more rugged and fierce, he changed his voice to a deeper, more intimidating voice, and was even able to change his personality via new, rarely tested technology. He now looked, sounded and acted much more like a pirate. The only thing that could prevent him from being accepted into the Black Finger Lodge was his DNA, because Jurididonians extremely rarely become pirates, so it may be suspicious that one wants to join the pirate faction that somewhat recently destroyed a faction owned and operated by a Jurididonian.
Zendichez headed toward The Armada's last known location, seeking acceptance into the Black Finger Lodge...
So, I've decided that for now I will end Illsent's/Zendichez' story. Just know he was accepted and rose through the ranks, and eventually became the Master Artificer of the Black Finger Lodge. I want to start a new short story about the ancient lore of NMS, that will be set in an alternate universe. I might start within the week, but who knows? (By the way, it won't be real lore; just fan lore that I think would be interesting to write and probably to read as well.)
