Matador: I figured out how to make the new warp cores ckightk . You need to find manufacturing facilities to get the recipe. You can unlock it from a recipe tree, so you get to pick what recipes you get now.

Illsent: I don't really play NMS very often anymore, but if I ever do go back, I'll be sure to check out the hub. Well, that is, as long as it's on PS4.

I'm sad that none of this is actually brand new information, but at the same time it's awesome to actually get a perspective from someone with hands on experience. It's good news that the controls feel responsive, and that the UI is crisp.
I love that they ask if there are multiple galaxies and the dude who played the game doesn't understand the difference. That pretty much sums up our discussion on another thread about that reporters that write the articles really don't understand the differance between one or multiple galaxies.
Also seems you can terraform pretty much with the plasma grenades. Sounds like a neat function if you get stuck at the bottom of a cave. Just plast your way out through the cieling.
About beta: HG did say in 2014 that there would not be a beta. These guys think there might be one, possibly even quite soon. Any credibility to that?
They also guess that it won't be a retail game and that the cost would be at $20. Which is obviously wrong. Since it's atleast going to be retailed by UK Game.
And INT3NSE it seems like the Deth Star part was just a joke by Sean. He did say in an earlier video that you alone wouldn't be able to take out a big freighter on your own. SO either they changed that or it was all just a joke
So yeah I think it's a cool video and it's awesome that the guy thinks it looks so polished. But I wouldn't give too much for their speculations.

Don't bet on it dude. Sean did say in a video that if you saw a ship you like you'd have to fly after it and buy it at a space station. He also said that they are procedural so you can't build them yourself just kit them out with upgrades that take up storage slots. And that you can only have one at a time. So my bet is that they understood Sean totally wrong. You know how he gets in videos when people ask questions he really doesn't want to get too much in to

Sean has explicitly said in the past that your ships will never be so big that you feel you can take on an entire fleet by yourself.
I also think people are confusing being able to "slot upgrades" such as better shields or guns with being able to actually construct a ship from the ground up. My understanding is that this is impossible, and considering it's never even been mentioned by the developers that you can do this, I see no reason to believe that you can.

Yup I'm with you on that one as well. Just look at the space stations. They look more like Death Stars and Borg Cubes than any real life space station.
And yeah if they confuse galaxy and universe why not confuse upgrade sip and construct ship?
